Snorkeling

We provide a complimentary set of snorkeling gear to use during your stay so that you can enjoy the beautiful coral and marine life of Gili Gede.
Everything is very close by : The Snorkeling spot is right in front of The Papalagi Resort.

Should you want to venture further out to the nearby islands, our staff will be more than happy to take you around on a boat tour at the following cost:

• 3 hours snorkeling boat trip around Gili Rengit and Gili Layar : IDR 300,000
• 1 hour boat trip around Gili Gede :  IDR 300,000

Diving

Happily we could arrange with an experienced diving team is ready to guide you through the underwater beauty of the Gili Gede island. Beginner and experienced divers are welcome.

Exploring Gili Gede Island

It takes around 5-6 hours to walk around the island. The island is surrounded by tropical trees and various birds and beautiful white beaches. Have a walk around to see the traditional village life also to meet with the two native tribes, The Sasak and The Bugis are very open and friendly to visitors, and to collect beautiful shells on the beach.

Kayaking

Kayaking is a perfect activity on sunset or when the waves are calm. We provide kayaking boards at The Papalagi Resort to rent.
